The Sannai-Maruyama Archaeological Site, which boasts the largest scale among the Jomon Archaeological Sites in Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku, which has been registered as a World Heritage Site, is a central presence. It's a great discovery that makes a difference.At the entrance of the Sannai-Maruyama Ruins, the Jomon Jiyukan exhibits artifacts excavated from the Sannai-Maruyama Ruins and introduces the lifestyle of the time, raising expectations for the ruins to be visited. When you pass through the building of "Jomon Jiyukan", a large Jomon period village jumps in front of you.
