Hakkoda and Lake Towada is closed from mid-12 to mid-3 from 21 p.m. to 7:３０ a.m.Prefectural Route 40 Tashirodaira is closed from mid-12 to mid-3 at night from 18 pm to 7:３０, as well as emergency road closures due to snow.
